Why Digital Cctv?

When setting up a CCTV system for your property or your business there are many different options and things to consider and this can sometimes make it hard to choose just one CCTV system out of the large selection.

The majority of people looking to install cameras in their property no matter what the nature of that property is, will be looking for digital cameras. There are many reasons that people gravitate towards digital cameras, and these include the fact that they are higher definition both temporal and spacial meaning that they have more pixels for a crisper image and they have a higher frame rate. A digital CCTV system will also be preferable for most people as the data it saves goes directly to a memory card or to online storage and this then means that it doesn’t have to be physically ‘stored’ such as that data kept on a VHS (which you get with analogue cameras). Perhaps most importantly of all, a digital CCTV system allows you to record from multiple ‘tracks’ or that’s multiple cameras simultaneously. This then makes you far less likely to miss any important action through recording from the wrong camera at the time anything happens.

At the same time, a digital CCTV camera can benefit from many other functions and additional bells and whistles. This is because the data is digital meaning that it can be manipulated in a number of ways. With a motion sensor for instance you can ensure that you don’t waste space recording static footage, whereas with video analysis you can make sure that you only record when there is human activity being picked up. These are highly useful as they allow you to record much less footage which not only saves memory on your storage device, but also means that you won’t have half as much footage to sift through in order to see if anything happened during the night. This also then means that you can tie your CCTV system in to your other security such as an alarm. This way you can then trigger the alarm to sound when human-looking movement is picked up on the camera.

Using an IP CCTV system (Internet Protocol) you can even broadcast the footage across a wireless connection to be watched remotely. Further more, using VoIP (Voice Internet Protocol) you can even set it to record sound and transmit it so that you can ask who’s there when your alarm sounds without having to actually be present in the room. Here you have almost achieved omnipresence…

Another benefit of IP CCTV is the fact that it doesn’t need wires. The fact that it uses a wireless internet connection means that there is no call for cables running through the walls or suspended ceiling which of course is a great advantage allowing you to place the cameras wherever you want them without restrictions and meaning that you can move them quickly and easily without having electrical contractors come around and dig out the insulation in your walls.

Digital cameras in many ways provide the best CCTV surveillance. For a digital security camera follow the links.

Esplanade ? Savour a Rich Potpourri of Entertainment

Singapore boasts many entertainment modes ranging from movies to festivals to art galleries and theatres. Arts and culture play a vital role in the Singaporean lifestyle. Theatrical performances are just as popular as other entertainment in Singapore, drawing people in great numbers including both locals and tourists.

The Singapore theatre scene has a rich variety offering Indian, Malay and Chinese productions catering to a large audience.  Singapore’s love for theatre and the arts increased rapidly after the birth of the Singapore Arts Festival in 1977. While supporting local artists over the years the festival has become a major event with international recognition bringing in talents from around the world.

The Esplanade is popular in a number of ways such as a cultural icon, a strikingly conspicuous landmark and a major arts venue to enjoy a world of entertainment. Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, as it is referred, sits strategically on the Marina Bay waterfront flaunting its mesmerizing architecture. Going beyond a theatrical complex, Esplanade is a lifestyle centre offering shopping, dining and entertainment catering to everyone’s tastes.

Esplanade possesses several venues dedicated to performing arts besides a performing arts library, Singapore’s first of its kind. Esplanade’s venues use cutting edge technology to bring out the finest acoustics and the most effective lighting on stage. The biggest of its venues is the Theatre with 2000 seats and the Concert Hall with 1600 seats. There are three smaller studios to give more indoor space for the artists to warm up before a grand performance.

Just like the indoor spaces there are also outdoor spaces to perform at Esplanade, where the audience can enjoy live performances. There are spaces facilitating corporate events, innovative exhibitions, ideal meeting spots and even viewing platforms. Esplanade has so much to offer that you will be undoubtedly amazed and overwhelmed by its rich diversity of entertainment. You can also count on the many pleasant surprises you will get to experience while exploring this magnificent complex.

But that’s not all there is to Esplanade. There is the Esplanade Mall you definitely cannot overlook as it packs lifestyle, retail and entertainment outlets within its 8000 square metre space. You will find things related to the art scene as much as other attractive items while shopping. You can choose your dining experience to be ideal and stylish with the finest specialty cafes and restaurants. Or choose to dine by the waterfront bathed in dazzling city lights mirrored on the waters.

Visit the Esplanade and catch a live performance, be it a musical or theatrical, whichever you enjoy the best. If you have many days to spend in Singapore you can reserve a hotel near Marina Bay so as to reach Esplanade regularly and conveniently. If you prefer a Singaporeluxury hotelyou can opt for Marina Bay Sands Singapore which gives you the scenic vistas of Marina Bay while located close to the airport. Being a world class hotel Singapore, you can spend your holiday here indulging in luxury, spiced with the richest flavours of entertainment every day and every night.
